I totally stole this from alandhopewell.

So, what fictional movie "boss" would you like to have worked for. This can be good or bad movies, ANY movie. It has to be a fictional character that was identified as a boss/manager/employer/leader in some way in a movie. In other words, you can't say something like "I would like to have worked for Josey Wales," because, as badass as that character was, he was in no way a "boss."

I'll start with:

GORDON GEKKO! CIRCA 1980'S!
He may be unscrupulous, greedy, and immoral, but if you do good, you get perks. Lots and lots of perks.

"Mr. Jonathan" in BLACK SHAMPOO.  I'd take care of some of his "overflow" business if you know what I mean.

I don't know whether this is a legit answer or not, but after watching last year's "Johnny English Reborn" w/ Rowan Atkinson as Johnny English, I'd say Rowan Atkinson. Not so much in his role as Johnny English, though that is a good possibility, but Rowan Atkinson himself. While I don't know the man, the actor just seemed to be a great guy to work for.

Johnny English is an acceptable answer because it has to be a fictional character, and also because, even though he wasn't a "boss" per se, he was the head agent with an assistant (although the assistant is far more capable than the bumbling English), it just barely qualifies. So, in an indirect way you are saying that you are far more capable than Johnny English.  Wink

But, alas, although I dig Rowan Atkinson quite a bit, it is not in keeping with the concept of the thread.

I haven't even seen the movie, but I'd wanna work for the Jennifer Aniston character in "Horrible Bosses" cuz ... well, dude, it's Jennifer Aniston, and as I understand it, her character in the film has a problem with keeping her hands off of her employees. TeddyR

Yeah, I could work for that. No problem.

Ernest Borgnine as Ragnar in The Vikings.

Your job was plundering with some light pillaging plus Ragnar gave great office parties.
