I really tried to like "Twilight" because I'm a big fan of Kristen Stewart's (all of her other movies are pretty good). But, all the hype, I just couldn't take it anymore! I didn't want to jump on the backlash bandwagon, but enough is enough.

Again, Twilight is not a loved film outside of its small audience.  Though you are right.  Kristen Stewart's other movies are pretty good, like The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I have to second the Dark Knight.  I have friends who still can't fathom that I don't like Dark Knight.  It has some nice moments but it just didn't do it for me.  I was really bored and wanting it to end.

Please allow me to add "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" my list of hated film. I finally saw it for the first time the other night. I have come to the conclusion that I have never seen such an over hyped snooze fest in my life.

Forrest Gump.  What an overblown, self-righteous piece of cynical, emotionally-manipulative crap.  Here's a white-washed, feel-good primer on American history, 1955-1983, as seen through the eyes of a mentally-handicapped man who in the feel-good high point of the film, is raped (yes, raped.  He is not in a position to give informed consent to Jenny, so it is rape.  Try making a movie where a man has sex with a mentally-handicapped woman, see how far you get) by the person he values most, all set to the tune of a medley of Baby Boomers' favorite songs.  Everything is so coldly calculated out -- here's a scene and song, cry to it; here's another scene and song, laugh but don't do so uproariously.  And don't forget to have a Dr. Pepper with it!

My favorite part of Forest Gump is when Jenny pawns her bastard child off on Forest.  Yeah, sure, Forest, that's your kid.  Jenny's certainly not just using you one last time.  Lol.
