Tell us about your most impressive (by volume) eating experience!

[The Burgomaster]

When I was working at my first public accounting firm I had a pizza-eating contest against one of our interns.  I was 27 or 28 years old, about 5' 9" tall, and weighed about 180 - 185 pounds.  My opponent was, probably around 20 - 21 years old, I'd guess about 6' 2" tall and maybe 195 - 200 pounds.  We went to a pizza buffet for lunch and each ate 15 slices (with toppings) before realizing neither of us intended to stop eating and concede defeat.  So we called it a draw.  I felt like I had a cannonball in my stomach for the rest of the day.  My opponent was on my company's basketball team and he actually played a game that night.  Good luck with that!

As a hangover cure we would go to the Godfather's buffet on a weekend morning.  Of course several testosterone laced college boys HAD To have a contest... Me: 17 pieces, Buddy 1: 21 pieces Buddy 2: 23 pieces.

Fuunny, the big eaters were skinny guys.
