Holy crap....you guys would not believe what happened at our show. Allow me to give the details:

First off, due to the club working behind schedule, we wound up playing at 2:30 rather than 2:00. While not that big of a deal in retrospect, I was pretty annoyed by the staff's disorganization. In the meantime as our friends The Wild Hunt opened the show, we stuck around backstage tuning our instruments. I was busy warming up my voice (i.e. humming scales, lightly singing mid tone melodies, etc.) in order to perform well on the vocals. Damn was it ever helpful!

As The Wild Hunt walked off the stage after delivering a pretty good performance, we were up for sound-check. When we finished up the club owner introduced us, I said a small introduction and we began our set.

Let me tell you guys somethin': this gig was everything that Club Soda was not. We were energetic and enthusiastic for the music. Everyone was on time with their cues, my vocals were intact and most of all: NO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!  Smile Smile  Thumbup

Oh Lordy Lord, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, God.

Now this was another battle of the bands competition. Unlike Club Soda, there were more places to win (five compared to two). The top five bands would go on for round two where they would win studio time, money and possibly a music video. Out of the twelve bands that performed that day, take a wild guess where we placed.

You ready for this?

Sure?

Alrighty then.....

We came in second place! Talk about redemption!

If you want to see some footage, here's two out of the six songs performed on Facebook.
Don't worry, it's public. You don't have to fret about logging in.

(*Note. Watch the video that's two minutes and ten seconds long first and then move on to the second one just to follow the order of the set.)
