I'm buying them.

Next we need Masked Rider and Big Bad Beetleborgs.

I'm probably getting season 1 and 2 of Power Rangers down the road for nostalgic purposes

From what I read, they're releasing a bunch of season.

Personally, I would buy from Mighty Morphin to In Space.  Those five seasons or so had the whole Zordon saga, and ends with his death.

After that it changed every season: Lightspeed Rescue, Dino Thunder, etc etc.

I would even get Dino Thunder just cause Tommy came back for it.

Well if you are interested in seeing more of the series, I refer you to Linkara of TGWTG's website.  He's been looking over the series and reviewing them.  Feel free to check the reviews to see if any of the seasons grab your attention, but warned, by watching them, there will be spoilers:

I might get it...eventually. Maybe in the fall when my next student loan can help cover for a little bit of entertainment every month again (seriously, it's easy to blow through one fast when you have to deal with things like parts of your 4 year-old computer breaking down, art supplies, and groceries in general just being pricey)

So the live action Ninja Turtles show from '98 had a crossover with the Power Rangers.

And they had a female turtle.

The hell?

correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember VR Troopers  being a rip-off of Power Rangers

VR Troopers wasn't necessarily a rip-off.

It was produced by SABAN, who also produced Power Rangers.

Also, it was based off of a different Japanese show.

The only problem was that Saban managed to use five years worth of stock Japanese footage in about 18 months so it got cancelled.

It's based off of the Super Sentai show from Japan.  That show has lasted well over 20 years, primarily because it changes the cast/storyline/costumes every year.  The American version didn't wanna change the initial costumes, and paid to have them shipped over once the initial first season was up.  By the third season, they decided to reboot as just Power Rangers, and follow the Japanese version.  Hence, it became Power Rangers: Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, etc., utilizing that years Japanese footage.

Here's some stuff from wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mighty_Morphin_Power_Rangers

The difference with the US version is from '93 to '99 there was an overarching storyline, as opposed to the Japanese one where it was new every season.  So we got new costumes/footage/etc, while still being one story.  They should go back to this formula as opposed to just a new show every year.
