Lizzie Borden Murder Case Gets New Look With Discovery of Her Lawyer's Journals

Doesn't sound like anything groundbreaking, like the revelation of a 'real killer'. It seems to try to paint Lizzie as not quite the cold fish and Andrew not quite the evil old man as historically portrayed. I guess Abby Borden really was a sharp-tongued old shrew, though.

I liked the Elizabeth  Montgomery  movie in the 70's?  I mean who didn't  want to see  'Samantha'  with her clothes  off? TongueOut

Hell, the whole frickin' movie's up there:
Small | Large

Take a look at THAT before they take it down!!!  Made-for-TV sometime in the mid-70s, a creepy and stylish supposition... everybody who's old enough remembers this movie!!  I'm gonna post another thread... I have it playing RIGHT NOW!!  TeddyR

It's because it fascinates people, not unlike Jack the Ripper.

I think it's partly due to the secret desire of  many who want to off  someone they hate and get away  with it and others who just have a morbid desire for murder, but, don't want to actually do it.

I think cases like this are, for professionals, very interesting puzzles. For everyone else with an interest, they're curiosities.

Well, maybe not murder....but conking my boss on the head with that blue metal folding chair seems appealing. Wink

I once read a novel titled Lizzie by Evan Hunter based on the life of Lizzie Borden where she was a hot lesbian who travelled all over Europe boinking other hot lesbians.

Oh - then she came home to Fall River and chopped up the parental units.

Lizzie was a  Lez?  :bouncegiggle:Yeah, sounds like  some guys twisted fantasy. Twirling  I never got into the serial killer thing, know many people are fascinated, as many guys are  fascinated by two women having sex together, two women who want nothing to do with men, go figure that one and you'll understand why most serial killers are men and not called 'Lizzie.'
