Hard to tell because they show it so briefly (and often in the dark), but if it's one of these, then it's called a "string tie."

It looks like a sting tie that has been tied in a bow.  Though of a thicker fabric then usual.

It looks like an undone bow tie with a center knot; being that one end is longer than the other.
