As a lone explorer scout for the Alliance of Free Planets, you have been chosen to explore a newly discovered galaxy on the other side of the Outer Rim. Where, you might or might not meet the militaristic Nagai, who may or may not be hostile and who go into battle hurling knives, and the non-militaristic Tofs, who like to use wooden clubs, especially on prisoners, and who are always hostiile.

Therefore, you get to take a blaster with you, and you have a choice of two blasters. Blaster A, which can only be set to stun, and Blaster B, which can only be set to kill, or you can take both Blasters, but that doubles the weight you have to carry.  Therefore, which would you choose?

Bonus question: What type of holster would you wear to carry them, or would you wear a holster?

Blaster B - that stunning crap is for sissies.  It's a blaster - they blast.  Not one of those Dust Buster-looking phaser thingies.

I'd have a nice low-slung leather holster.  Not the fastest on the draw, but I'm not going up against gunslingers - just aliens.

Both.

Double shoulder rig. Gun butts forward. Gun barrels down.

     I chose both.
I'd holster therm like CORSAIR, of the Starjammers....

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.
