This one stunk all by itself, PLUS the old Jews at the Academy stiffed THE COLOR PURPLE in favor of this; they should give the awards to Speilberg and a bunch of schwartzers?

PERSONAL NOTE- I haven't watched the Oscars since then.

Nightmare Weekend (1986):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygBseFsnbSU
Despite what the trailer might suggest, at least a quarter of this movie is so dark that it's impossible to see what is going on.  There is also an awful lot of sex, but none of it looks to be good.  What are the odds of having that many people, who are all that bad at sex, in the same place?  Inflicted this on the wife lately and she's still not forgiven me.

SPACE MUTINY (1988)

Small | Large

I had the (mis)fortune to catch this one on late-night TV before MST3K made it famous. For a long time I thought I had dreamed it.

The final scene is creepy! why is she or he justing standing there naked. whith the exsact same creepy exspression growling like a monster. It is creepy cause off how trippy that scene is. Looks like something I may see when I am off my Meds or something. >_<

Since I just absolutely have to mention this film, lets get it out of the way:

Here's another I never get tired of:

I much prefer this sequel to the original, if only for how silly it ended up being.  One of my favorite Dennis Hopper roles:

Harry Warden is still one of my favorite slasher badguys:

My favorite kind of 1980s movie: wall-to-wall nudity, wall-to-wall absurdity. This one should be better known in sleaze circles. "The festivities dedicated to Satan are about to begin!"

I've name dropped this horrendous piece of s**t many times, but I think everyone on this board should see it at least once (and die a little inside).
