I'm a big fan of Damon Packard's film
Reflections of Evil and he's releasing a new one this year. Its premiere will be at the Egyptian theater in Hollywood on July 21 (I got an invite via Facebook but uh, don't think I could afford the trip...). Here's a synopsis:
A sweet, fragile, mentally unbalanced young girl obsessed with crystals, dolphins, Plieadians, Ram Dass, David Lynch meditation tapes, David Icke and Richard Hoagland becomes increasingly and violently disillusioned with the new age religion after discovering too much conflicting information. In particular her obsession and connection with Billy Meier, the Pleadians, and an extraterrestrial named Semjase.
Foxfur retreats to the hills--into the year 1982 and encounters a group of stranded Lemurians (elves).
She finds herself gradually transfigured into a female Robin Hood and must discover the secret of the year 1982, when the world really ended, and it's relation to "The Dead Zone".
An end of the world story told within the end of the world.
