80's movie where the townspeople skins fall off to reveal aliens underneath? This occurs at the end or near the end. I think they are walking to the mother ship in the country,it's pretty much the whole town. The main character is a young boy helped by a teenage girl who maybe his sister or an alien. The move is very similar to invaders from mars(80's) version. But I distinctly remember psychic mind powers being critical to the story. Like you could destroy someone by thinking it. I'm thinking there was a love story subplot. I know how much this sounds like invaders from mars but i don't think it is.
