Has anyone ever noticed that in Day of the Dead, when the army guys' leader is teared to pieces, they pull out something that looks like a plucked chicken or turkey? I saw it in the 1998 (?) Director's Cut. You have to use slow-motion of freezeframe to be able to see it.

I did what you did and I noticed it two. It might be. Who knows? In Night Of The Living Dead(1968) they used animal raw animal organs, animal rights groups got all p**sed because it was mean to animals. Day of The Dead is my favorite, then Dawn Of The Dead, then Night Of The Living Dead. Very Weird, 'cause I usually don't like sequels.

I never noticed that (I'll have to look next time I watch it) but there are several minor mistkaes in this film that are noticeable in parts. Romero makes a cameo as a zombie pushing a tray by towards the end. You only see his legs though. This is also my favorite followed by dawn and night. Surprised someone has the same opinion because this one is usually the last on everyone's list.

A bit of trivia about this scene: The guts were real pig intestines. They were kept in a regrigerator until the day the scene was shot, but unfortunately it got unplugged. The scene was shot three weeks later and the entire crew got sick and gagged throughout shooting. Rhodes was very sick, as having rancid swine entrails laying on your stomach will do to you.

I liked Day Of the Dead. I like Day & Dawn better than NOTLD (either version).
