Dont know why heathers shows up on horror lists. Its a fantastically written dark comedy but its intent is never to frighten. Kind of a weak year from a quick glance with few original ideas. Pet Sematary is among steven kings finest adaptations and deserves it spot here.

I'm kind of surprised by just how few I've seen from this year...only 4, all sequels. (Nightmare 5, Friday the 13th Part VIII, Return of the Swamp Thing, Halloween 5)

Why is Little Monsters on this list?

It's a children's fantasy/comedy, starring Fred Savage, Ben Savage, Howie Mandel and Daniel Stern.

P.U.!  Lot of stinkers on this list.  Went to see NOES5 at the theater.. pretty bad.  Went to see Little Monsters with my brothers, also terrible.  Pumpkinhead was fairly good though.

I saw a couple of these in the theater - Halloween 5, Friday the 13th VIII, Robert Englund's Phantom of the Opera, and Leviathan.

I remember being so p*ssed off by Halloween 5 that I actually considered going to the manager and asking for my money back. When the end credits started rolling I sat there in my seat yelling "What the F*CK? They RUINED it!" :D

Really surprised by how little Heathers made!

And Leviathan is one my all time favorites. It takes so much from so many other films but is an enjoyable flick.

Yeah, but I always thought Andree Maranda from the first one was hotter.
