I saw this again early this morning on the MGM channel and it still holds up. Renee Soutendijk is a scientist who creates a female cyborg in her image, the cyborg intrudes on a bank robbery, is shot and goes haywire, targeting bad guys with a blast from her seemingly endless supply of bullets in what looks like an Uzi machine pistol and the late great Gregory Hines as an army general is tasked to take this cyborg without an off-switch down as she is now targeting her creator's family.
The best line: Hines chewing out his soldiers thus: "You're all dead, and each would have an epitaph saying 'He died for his country because he didn't [expletive deleted] listen!"

The weird thing about the director of this film (Duncan Gibbins) is that his films always featured fire and explosions in one form or another (in fact, one of his films was called
Fire With Fire) and he died in a fire in 1993.
