I was a dummy....a REAL dummy, standing in a store window, until Fate intervened. Then I became a hero.

Brother Power, the Geek?

alandhopewell was correct, the answer was Asbestos Man (in case anyone had any doubts).

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Ooookay, cool! How's about this one:

I am an American astronaut who was taken prisoner by an alien race planning to destroy the Earth. By donning one of their uniforms and using their "atomic transistors" to fly and project energy beams, I foiled their plot and swore to protect Earth from any future evils.

FFC- I give up; why not reveal it, and post another one?

Stumped ya, huh?  TeddyR

That would be "Phoenix" from the semi-legendary, short lived "Atlas Comics" line of the mid 70s

How'bout this one?

My name's "Irwin." I have a persistent delusion that Superman is my friend and I'm joined in my occasional forays into superhero-dom by a doll sidekick I call "Cheeks, the Toy Wonder."

That would be the Ambush Bug.

Try this....

After facing and winning a series of trials, I was awarded a sacred costume by an Indian chief, and given the mission to fight evil.HINT: I am a Golden Age hero.

This may have been too obscure....

     Perhaps something newer....

After crash-landing on a planet in another solar system, I was attacked sumultaneously by four different aliens, their weapons each designed to turn me into one of their own kind. However, since the energies struck me at the same time, I became a being with the powers of all four .

Too hip for the room, I guess....

     This should be fairly easy....

My friend and I traveled to a city in a bottle, where we had adventures as crime-fighters; other heroes use the names my partner and I had.

Got it in one....Superman and Jimmy Olsen took on these identities to fight crime in Kandor.

Today, Dick Grayson and Betty Kane fight crime under those names....

     Give us something good....

My father was the warden of a prison so I grew up there.  I learned many different skills from the prisoners.  When I grew up I became a doctor.  Later on I fought crime using all the skills I had picked up in prison.

Maybe that was too hard.  The answer was...  The Angel (Thomas Halloway)

Let me try an easier one then.  I used to be the heavyweight champion of the world (boxing).  Later I fought crime while dressed up in a stupid animal costume.  I trained several other heroes including Black Canary and Catwoman.

Heres mine:
I travelled back in time to save my world, once I did I returned and my home was a taco stand.
