Hi, I don't know what movie this scene is from, but its sticks out in my mind constantly and I have no clue where it is from!
If anyone could help me put this to rest, I'd appreciate it.

Here's this guy dressed in a fancy suit in a room, and hes drinking water I think, then in like this whole swirly effect (or possibly some kinda toilet) this old guy appears next to him and he's all grey and withered. I assume hes some kinda ghost. and hes wearing sunglasses. Then he takes the water and drinks it, but all the water leaks out of him cuz apparently hes full of holes.

Sounds like it could be Scrooged, the only version of A Christmas Carol I can stand watching.

Although we can't or likely won't confirm it w/ the OP, I don't think this one is ambiguous...

>>> guy dressed in a fancy suit = is Bill Murray

>>>hes drinking water I think = probably whiskey, but yes, he's drinking

>>> this old guy appears next to him and he's all grey and withered = John Forsythe as the Jacob Marley character

>>> hes some kinda ghost. and hes wearing sunglasses = this is really what seals it, plus the next bit

>>> he takes the water and drinks it, but all the water leaks out of him cuz apparently hes full of holes. = again it's whiskey, but per the youtube link above and these photos, I think we can confirm this is SCROOGED.
