Definitely "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" (1977). It's one of Ray Harryhausen's excellent stop-motion-monster Sinbad films.
Having seen it back in '77, when it was first released to theaters, I can verify that Andrew is correct. It is "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger," and Harryhausen's stop-motion-monsters were excellent. Probably the best part of the movie.
A little more information. Sinbad, this time, was played by Patrick Wayne, John Wayne's son, and the woman with the bird foot, who was the villainess in the film, was played by British actress and singer Margaret Whiting.
Another famous child in the film was Taryn Power, who was the daughter of noted actor Tyrone Power.
