The new Bond movies with Daniel Craig.  I only saw Quantum of Solace but I thought it was absolutely awful.

Well, I agree with you, and I really enjoyed Casino Royale.  Quantum of Solace is just bad film making.  If you totally disliked it TONALLY though, you may not like Casino Royale much.  The Bond in it is similar, but Casino Royale has far better pacing, a much better villain, a better plot, and WAAAAAY better action scenes and editing.

... THE UNTOUCHABLES, DANCES WITH WOLVES, and LAWRENCE OF ARABIA...
I wouldn't even consider mentioning LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (one of my favorites and endlessly watchable for me) with them other two... things.

Just about anything Coen Brothers did.

Thank you!

(ok, the Coens are an acquired taste.)

I may have just been in the wrong mood when I watched it, but I never quite understood the love that OUT OF SIGHT gets; it seemed like a pretty unremarkable caper movie to me. (I don't get the love for Steven Soderbergh in general, the only movie of his I really like is THE LIMEY.)

Didn't care for Citizen Kane, matter fact, I really hate it for being exaggerated when it, let's be honest here, not really good at being a mystery.

Never understood the love for Weird Science either, that movie's just mean-spirited and not funny at all.

One movie I really thought was mean-spirited and unfunny was Ferris Bueller's Day Off.  The guy's just a despicable, manipulative piece of crap.  Maybe it's because I had a car in high school and met quite a few little beggars like him.

Have you ever seen ELECTION?  Pretend it's the sequel and Ferris finally gets what's coming to him  Twirling  (I like FBDO but I tend to think Cameron is the real hero of the story.)

No I love it, and think it deserves every bit of the credit it gets. I must admit that my enjoyment was greatly increased by watching the supplemental material that comes with my DVD copy. Their is a fantastic documentary called "The Battle over Citizen Kane" and a even more terrific commentary by Roger Ebert. Although I did enjoy it when I first saw it in high school the more I learn about Orson Welles and the production, the greater appreciation I get for the film. But honestly I can understand why people would not enjoy it but if you question the storytelling, craft or amazing shots (Deep focus b***hes!) in this film you are off base in my opinion

CITIZEN KANE has been glorified for so long it's bound to earn detractors.  Plus, all films are a matter of taste to at least small extent.  Personally, I like it and think it holds up extremely well.  It's a masterpiece.

Oh,I'd forgotten about that one. Geez, was it popular and boy I couldn't stand it! Plus,it would crack me up when "Twist and Shout" would come on the radio and the youngsters would say,"Hey,it's the Ferris Bueller song". Lookingup TeddyR

The Wizard of Oz. There something about it I loathe and don't know what. Each time I try to watch it I end up ejecting it not even half way through.

INVASION OF THE BODYSNATCHERS

the remake. just found it tedious, dull, badly acted, and generally not interesting. not a big fan of Donald Sutherland (although I do like him in DON'T LOOK NOW). And Leonard Nimoy is not a character I can ever take seriously unless he's playing Spock, because he cannot fail to look like Spock, forever. So if he's in a different film I just think "It's Spock...it's Spock...". and I'm not even a 'trekkie' or whatever, lol....

Ha ha!  Nice.
I have a very deep loathing for Ferris Bueller.  I've always thought of him as a class-A douchebag in training.
Election is awesome and brutal.  A fitting end for Ferris.
