What do you get when you put Whoopi Goldberg in a habit and drop her into a nunnery?

A very confused clergy.

The film was successful enough that it spawned a sequel "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit," and a stage version of the film, which is playing on Broadway.

There are too many to list, but recently it has become increasingly common to adapt a film, so it can be presented on stage.
