Same here. Never needed to take the painkillers when I had my broken leg. Had a supply of Tylenol 3 (containing a generous dose of codeine) that I never had to touch. Ended up saving it for hangovers. Worked like a charm.

Just seeing this now, but hope the knee's somewhat better.

My dentist gave me Vicodin when my wisdom teeth came out.  Long story short, I wish he hadn't, cause it was hard as heck to stop...three years later. :buggedout:

Let's see, 2009 bone spur in shoulder removed and partial tear in rotator cuff repaired, shoulder froze up , had to have a manipulation with anesthesia  ( they knock you out so you don't scream while they break loose the scar tissue, the nurse said the part she hated was the popping and cracking .  Had 16wks of PT for that one.
that vicodin  comes in real hand after a hard PT session.

2011 Had bone spur removed from elbow. this surgery didn't hurt a lot but gave my funny bone a lot of relief. two weeks ago had a mucous cyst and a bone spur removed from right index finger, bad new is both could come back.

My next big procedure will be getting my left thumb repaired, I'll be holding that off as long as I can .

to you guys and girls, take care of your bodies, that abuse will be back to haunt you .

And you thought Trek isn't cool.
