Hi!
You all may remember me as Umaril The Unfeathered a few years ago. I'm so sorry for suddenly dropping off the radar, but the old PC broke down, (got a new one) and closer to home,  I have also been recovering from a serious physical condition, and am doing much better now. Let us just say that a hospital test saved me life, and one I should have had sooner, and one that I was hospitalized for immediately after the results.

Suddenly, life means more now than it did before...

So, that said, hello again to Indy, AHD, Andrew and Andy and the rest of you, and I'll see you at the forum. Have one on me, kids  Cheers

Your old buddy,
Umaril

I'm happy for your survival, and glad the hospital threw in new feathers as a bonus TeddyR .

And don't feel bad about dropping out of view for a while; look at the dates on my past 15 or so posts!

Still eclectic and cantankerous?

With the history we shared the last time around, I wouldn't want it any other way, my old friend! Now about that fried chicken and arrowhead hunt that you promised Trevor in the other post...count me in, sounds like a good old time!  Cheers

Read ya' loud and clear, old friend.

Sadly. the improved Umaril wasn't enough to stop a woman named Sandy when she blew into my part of town awhile back..I lost the front windshield on my car and the mirror on the passenger's side from a tree limb that shattered the whole thing!

Oddly, my neighbor's truck sat damn near under the offending tree and not ONE thing happened, but I park behind her, and WHAM! I win the lottery for vehicle damage.

Gotta' love Safe-Lite though,,they came out and replaced the windshield and fixed the side-view mirror as well as vacuuming out my car AND giving me new wipers for free. All for $299.00  not too bad, I'd say!

Hi ya'!
I'll do my best to stay, provided nothing else happens to me that comes straight out of the Twilight Zone's left field and hits me blind-side. What a trip it's been.... Buggedout

Since your name no longer says "unfeathered," does that mean you now have feathers?  Question Welcome back!

Welcome back!  Sorry to hear that your health was a huge worry for a while.  I've had some friends that I've known for decades going through difficult times in that same vein and it's hard.   Glad that you are feeling better.

Thank you!
Tell ya' one thing, old friend, from now on, when the doctor says to get that yearly exam for the usual male health issues, I'm GETTING that exam! I was lucky this time around as it was caught and properly treated.
