RBI Baseball, Bases Loaded, Double Dribble, Tecmo Bowl for NES (amongst other sports titles) - my neighbor and I used to burn hours playing NES games like these and many others.  Lot of fun trash talking too.

Soooo many...

In hours spent, Nethack wins for me.

I loved Mat Mania too.  Once you learned to run and then immediately shoulder block, "Coco Savege" was not so tough.

I grew up in the golden age of arcades, so I played nearly everything..

Mutant Fighter.  (Anyone else?  " I'll taste your BLOOD!!!")

Discs of Tron.  Gorf.  Pengo.  Xevious.  Xaxxon.  Mousetrap.  Donkey Kong and its variants.  Joust 1 and 2.  Major Havoc!  Rastan (I was the only guy in my arcade who could win that). Bubble Bobble (a friend of mine and I could win that on one credit each)

Yie ar Kung fu!
Dragons lair!
Golden axe!
Renegade!
Sf 2 and its variants!
Paperboy!

And let us not forget un squadron and forgotten worlds.

Games I loved but were very hard:  defender (that game takes skill).  Ghouls n ghosts (very hard!).  Qix if difficulty setting high.

On the PC:  nethack of course, Starcraft, pathways into darkness, and Marathon !!!!!

And if you ever saw someone really, really good at Robotron 2084... That was an arcade hero.

I loved "Combat" on the old Atari. Pick tank battle, turn on bouncy walls, and just have fun.

Minecraft.

I'm sick, I have it on my phone and on my PC.  I start out planning to do something simple, hours later I realize I haven't even finished what I started because I got distracted with other things.  It's a black hole where my time goes.

glad I'm not as addicted as you are! TongueOut jk, but then again, I'm not sure if you have the time to make a 93.6 million block space ship.

I almost forgot about that one, Andrew. I also remember with the air combat mode you could have 3 planes against one or something like that..you could do it with the tanks too. There was so much you could do with that game.

There were 27 different games in Combat, and yeah, there was one game with three mini-planes taking on a GIANT biplane.  I also remember there was a way to fiddle with your tank in a corner and warp to the opposite corner of the screen.
Combat had a lot of variations, but Space Invaders had 112!!!
