I've heard good things about Ultraseven and its star seems to be something of one of the most popular Ultras. The flow of the episodes are a bit tighter and it does seem a little less kidified compared to Ultraman,  though that show did throw a few dramatic whammies and the comic relief seemed to get the most drama somehow.

Now a surprise was that I had no idea Dan had little capsule monsters to help him fight. Seems a little silly since I doubt he's going to not beable to transform very often. Oh well more monsters the better and it'd be nice it was explained where he got them or if he can unleash all at once.

Pretty fun so far.

Ultraseven! I remember the show well.

Dan Moriboshi, aka Ultraseven, was almost as big as Lt. Hayata from Ultraman, although I believe that Sususmu Kurobe (Hayata) has more of a fan following.

The Ultra Seven squad reminds you of the Science Patrol from Ultraman, save for the blue suits andnot the bright orange ones in Ultraman. Good show though, although the production value between both Ultraman and Ultraseven were apparent, as Eiji Tsubaraya's son decided to put more into Ultraman.

BTW: look for one of the Ultraseven actors closely. i don't know his name, but he is also the one who plays Arashi on Ultraman (the dude with the double grip Gamma Ray Gun).

I might have taped a few of those if I remember right. looking thru my collection I now confirm that I do have some of the TNT Ultraseven episodes. Not sure of how they play now after all these years though...
