I'm sorry if some of this information is incorrect, I'm trying to remember this movie off the top of my head, though I was 5 when I saw it (now 21)

I believe the movie was made in the 90's. The location is a city while most of the movie takes place inside a building. Some teenagers I believe are on a school bus or something when they need help with...something I can't remember. When they go into the building looking for help, they find this really weird room that has some hidden decapitated heads. Mean while, who ever was left on the bus got killed by what I think was an alien.

I THINK one scene in the movie is the teens figuring out how the alien or whatever the hell it is hunts for them by seeing their heat or some sort of Predator rip off type thing so the teens decide to hide in plain sight by getting naked in the dark (not really sure on this scene but it was something like this). I mean I remember them kind of not moving, possibly naked in this dark building, watching that monster or alien or whatever hunting for them.

One scene I remember for sure because as a kid I felt bad was the ending. One of the teens who died, SOMEHOW ends up coming back as a ghost or something and helps to kill this alien/monster/predator. All of his friends are on the rooftop (I think) looking at him. He is kind of standing there (or floating, the special effects made him have this really bright light behind him) as he is smiling at his friends. They thank him for saving him and before he leaves, says something along the lines of "Tell my mom that I'll miss her"

So....any help on this one? My dad rented it from Blockbuster all those years ago and I'm kinda curious to find out what movie this was. I figured a movie where a ghost teen saves the day from the alien monster would be easier to find but I was so wrong on this.

The date is not right,... the ghost thing and some other parts are also missing,... but somehow I'm reminded of "Jeepers Creepers 2"

"Jeepers Creepers 2" does come to mind, even if the fit is not perfect.
