OK-now we all know that most movies cannot possibly live up to the poster art. I mean-this poster was drawn by Frank f**king Frazetta, jumpin' Jebus! But being Frazetta is a comic book artist-it really does fit. This movie is a comic book come to life. f**k Batman and Spiderman movies-THIS is a comic book movie-without the comic.
Clint the Squint plays Ben Shockley who has to haul Sondra Locke to Phonex AZ as a witness at a trial. But who cares about the story? I just enjoyed watching a house get shot up so much it collapses,a showdown with bikers ("Hey! Thats my bike Charlie" "This is my gun,Clyde!") A chopper vs a Harley,Clint hijacking a Greyhound and been attacked by hundreds of cops, and Pat Hingle!
A GREAT Bad Movie-lotsa fun-highly recommend. I just watched it at 4:30 this morn waking up from a drunk...the best way to watch movies! :drink:

Heres a clip!

I saw this when it was released and was expecting the same old Clint. It took a while for me to realize it was making fun of his on screen image.
The house collapsing scene is classic. He looks like he's dodging mosquitoes instead of bullets.
It's an underrated flick.

Massively fun adolescent boy fare...came out while I was in middle school.  That poster art is fantastic!

Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I gave this one a whirl recently and was pleasanlty surprised even with all of the over the top super-action (the house scene!). Clint does a great job as a director in this film and the characters are well developed if not a tad over developed in that they can be uber-gritty and tough to watch in a Pulp-Fiction sort of way. Sondra Locke steals the show in this one and her scene in the back of the police car was a real hoot! Locke reminds me of a 70s version of a blonde Anne Hathaway.

The Burgomaster

I have tried, and tried, and tried to like this movie, but I just can't.  I bought the DVD anyway.

This has always been my favorite Clint movie...
