Ive been trying to find the name of a movie & I cant figure it out, any old movie buffs who can help?
In the movie the husband or boyfriend works all sorts of odd jobs (shoeling coal etc) to make money, his wife/girlfriend is a prostitute  he disguises himself as an old gentlemen who takes her for the nite every nite but only talks to her, he works all the odd jobs so he can keep her busy at nite so she doesnt have to sleep with other men
Its an old B&W movie from memory

Its driving me nuts ive been trying to find it off n on for months
Anyone else heard of it, i saw it on late one nite years ago  it stuck with me ever since???
