29. DRAGON'S LAIR (1983)
This was a laserdisc based game that I threw a small mountain of quarters into.
The idea was to save the princess, which one day I finally did.

30)  Zaxxon - used to leave my initials in the high score rankings at every video arcade in the San Diego area.

34. MR. DO! (Universal, 1982)
The coolest clown ever!  Of all the Dig Dug clones, nothing can come close to this one!  Spawned multiple sequels (and even a laserdisc one was planned!) and was far and away Universal's biggest hit.
Whenever I hear the "Can-Can" theme, I ALWAYS think of this game.

36. CENTIPEDE (1980, Atari)
Brilliant shooter where you get to mow down bugs and mushrooms.  Awesome!

37. PHOENIX (1980)
I remember playing this on the cocktail table version while bar hopping back in the early 80's.

The sound effects are pretty cool.

38)  Robotron.  I actually didn't play this much in the arcades but got it on a classics collection for the PS2 and kind of got hooked on it.

41. We didn't get Asteroids on there either.
Created in 1979, Asteroids is one of Atari's biggest hits ever.

I always felt the game was playing me... the controls never really lined up with the screen. Someof the BEST game deaths ever though.
