Not the Nintendo movie or the animated one but it came out in the late 80s or early 90s and is about a kid in high school who clones himself I think.

I think Disney made a very similar movie years later with the youngest Lawrence brother but that isn't the one I'm thinking of.

In this one the kid's clone(or actually it might be a robot) is really good at basketball and goes to school for him.

Does anyone have any idea what movie or tv show I'm talking about?

I'm pretty sure it is called Wizard but I can't for the life of me find it any reference to it online.

Still haven't found this one. Does anyone have any ideas on what this was? I'm pretty sure it was called "Wizard" but that might have been an alternative title.

I'm thinking now maybe it was originally a tv movie but I remember renting it.
