Here's the trailer for the new creature feature Big Ass Spider. I think that this actually looks like a lot of fun and could be the true follow up to one of my favorite B-movies of recent years "Eight Legged Freaks".

This one's a must-see.  I loved EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS and dig giant spider (and other) movies in general.  TARANTULA on Saturday morning "Shock Theater" was a repeat favorite...

And, my son just finished reading "Charlotte's Web," so that's kinda fitting, too.

Eight Legged Freaks is such a fun and underrated B-movie. I also echo Indianasmith's sentiment about Lloyd Kaufman getting eating by a gigantic spider. Immediate win right there!

Are you talking about Edward Furlong? If so, than I guarantee you that nobody has seen it which sums up the majority of his filmography.  Twirling BounceGiggle

I wasn't a big fan of Eight Legged Freaks myself. It came off as a p**s-poor Joe Dante with no wit or charm whatsoever.
This looks to be about the same sort of nonsense...and I'm probably going to end up watching it anyway. :P

I was actually surprised that Kari Wuhrer kept her clothes on in Eight Legged Freaks but it was PG-13. She has literally gotten naked in about every other movie of hers that I've seen (which isn't a bad thing at all though).

For REAL Big-Ass Spiders look no further than to the Amazonian Bird Eater tarantulas..ever seen one of these things? They're HUGE!!! The biggest one on record (from what I hear) was like 9 or 10 inches long! Spiders don't need to be that big!
If I saw one of those thngs in real life, I'd set a new record for the mile run in my age and weight class...  Buggedout

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.
