I'm trying to find the title of a live action 80s kids film.  I saw it in the mid to late 80s, so I believe it was made before then.  It was in color and had some blue screen work to achieve effects, as I remember.  It had something to do with ghosts--maybe the house was haunted?  There was some comedy to it.  I think it was a kid's film because there were pre-teen kids in it. Definitely a B-film.

The only scene that I remember right now, features a teenage/young adult boy who I believe was a ghost.  In this scene his feet detach and possibly begin dancing.

I don't remember any detached feet, but a commonly searched-for movie with kids in it is "Making Contact" (1985) aka "Joey."  Most people remember the huge, mutant, man-eating cheeseburger though.
