On the movie Willow?  That fantasy movie produced by George Lucas and direct by Ronald Howard?  Did you enjoy it or were you bored by it?  Did you like it or not?

I am ashamed to admit when I first saw the trailers for Willow back in 1988, I thought there would be some midget wrestling in it because I am amused by that sorta thing.  But no, there was very little in the way of that.  But there was some other funny stuff, like the main character using stage magic to fool the main villainess.  I also got a laugh every time someone called the main character a peck, LOL!  And I wonder why they called those little guys brownies?  I mean they aren't pastries.  They are tiny little obnoxious elves.

All in all, I think Willow is a very fun movie.  Anyone agree?

Oddly enough - because I do enjoy fantasy a great deal - I have never seen this movie in its entirety.  However, I did enjoy KRULL a great deal.

Haven't seen "Willow" in years. I saw it back in the day due to the Lucas connection, but fantasy elves 'n' fairies 'n' stuff isn't really my "thang" so I didn't really dig it much.

I thought Willow was quite watchable.   Good two-headed dragon, and some of the first use of morphing, which in that day was way cool.

"Brownies" are tiny little obnoxious elves/fairies.  Lookingup

Willow was watchable.  I remember being impressed with the general look of it; time for another viewing I think.

I vaguely remember seeing that many years ago.  I should check it out again, looks fun.

I enjoyed it overall.  It was freaky enough to be scary as a young kid in parts, but overall was a pretty decent effort.

I enjoyed the film myself.I really like Warwick Davis, who was in a number of films and went on to play Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter series. Plus that two-headed monster had a distinct Pythonesque quality.

Same here!  That's the only reason I keep Univision on my TV because they have midgets on their wrestling show, and it's the only time I get to see that.

I really liked that movie, but I haven't seen it in years.  I think it's time for rewatch.

I loved it when I was a kid, but I can't really say. I haven't seen it in 20+ years.

It's not bad, but it's overlong.  Could have used another good trimming.

I saw it once when it was first released on VHS.  Decades later, the word "suck" comes to mind when I think about that movie.

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit; it is a well-done entry among a LOT of very poorly done fantasy movies. Plus, it spawned one of the best NES games ever.  TeddyR
