GODZILLA KING OF MONSTERS is cheesy because of Raymond Burr and his interpreter being inserted into to the original movie. I love it, but the original GOJIRA is a very excellent, and serious, monster movie. If you haven't already seen it seek it out. Thumbup

I've seen GOJIRA and it is superior to GODZILLA KING OF MONSTERS, scary like the .  Yet, it's still just a Japanese giant monster movie...

They had lotsa great movies that night! GODZILLA,as you sed,BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN,the CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON,KING KONG (!!!),and I do believe later that night  Bert I Gordon's THE CYCLOPS!
