I'm going to assume The Asylum is getting better and better *gasp* based on the quality of their trailers. Not seen the movie yet (4.6/10 IMDb rating. Not too shabby) which seems to be ripping off Dog Soldiers. Anyone seen Battledogs?

Haven't seen it yet. By the trailer-I don't think its ripping off Dog Soldiers it just has a similar name. Plot seems to be more of a zombie-out break style film, just replacing zombies with werewolves.

Looking at some of the cast, its interesting to see one of the stars is Ariana Richards aka Lex from Jurassic Park.  I remember seeing her in interviews about the time the 3d version of the movie was released, and I have to say she grew up pretty nice.

As for Battle Dogs looks like it has some fun Asylum standard bad movie cheese.

That actually looks pretty bad-ass! IMDb sez it premiered on SyFy Channel back in April, don't know how I missed it. Will have to watch for a re-run.

HAHA, I think this thread is on the wrong forum *wink*

I just watched Battledogs, and I'd be happy to share my opinion.

For a movie: it sucked were-ass.
For a "Bad Movie": it was pretty ok.
For an Asylum Movie: It was good.

Usually with Asylum movies, all of the good scenes are in the trailer, and the rest of the movie is just boring. You sit there hoping that someone delivers some awful dialogue, or some wacky S#!t happens, but it rarely does.
With Battledogs, there actually are a fair amount of non-trailer moments that are giggle-worthy. So that being said... It's definately somewhere in-between Sharknado's Fun and Mega Piranha's mediocrity.
I'd give is a Solid 6/10 for being slightly entertaining.

I have to consider an Asylum movie as a Hollywood-Crush Film now?!
