What an unbelievably strange but haunting film - based on the book
Cutter and Bone by Newton Thornburg, this barely released film depicts two Vietnam veterans who believe a corrupt local politician killed a young lady and dumped her body in a rubbish bin and set out to bring him down. A very, very strange film indeed - I almost had to force myself to watch it as John Heard's character is almost too real - but I loved that ending.
