Sure, I completed Kid Icarus.  Two things that are really tough with that game though: Controlling him when jumping from TINY ledge to TINY ledge, and avoiding the damn eggplants!

I have never played Kid Icarus. I have no idea why, I guess at the time it didn't grab me.

It's on my list of games I need to play.

SUPER ZAXXON
Zaxxon is difficult as it is, but this one took basically the same gameplay and made it MUCH, MUCH FASTER!  Kick my nads in while I'm down, why dontcha?

Yup. I've always had problems with Zaxxon arcade.

It's like the games today are way too easy, right? It seems anyway.
80's arcade and computer games challenged us. Even early Nintendo games did.

I'm just guessing - that today's companies want kids to 'beat the game' and buy MORE, more, more.

I would have to say Ghouls n Ghosts on one credit is impossible! I'd like to see someone try that.

One of the coolest games. Over the top action, great designs, killer soundtrack, fun campy concepts, ALL RUINED BY THE 3RD LEVEL!!!

Nobody knows what the rest of the game is like, because this #$%#$%^%@#$%$#%&^$@$ level of hell cut off the fun just as you are getting started.

We used to play the first two levels over and over, just because the game was so cool.

And don't even THINK about trying to play it now as an adult. It's even harder than you remember, and we're slower.

Kids today can't appreciate good hard games. They get frustrated and go online to find codes and strategies.
