Chuck who?

I watched one of his lesser known movies recently, the Cannon Group produced and released Hot T-Shirts (1980)

Sure it's bad, and the comedy is more miss than hit. The soundtrack consists of several disco songs by some unknown female singer, including a rip off of Sister Sledge's 1979 hit We Are Family.
According to IMDb Chuck Vincent died of AIDS in 1991. Here is his legacy, his ten most popular movies by number of votes (IMDb).

1. Deranged (1987)
2. Wimps (1986)
3. Cleo/Leo (1989)
4. Slammer Girls (1987)
5. Sex Appeal (1986)
6. Blue Summer (1973)
7. Bedroom Eyes II (1989)
8. Hollywood Hot Tubs (1984)
9. Preppies (1984)
10. Warrior Queen (1987)

I've seen Deranged but don't remember much about it. Sex Appeal was pretty bland and kind of boring with its limited setting. I might have seen Wimps and Bedroom Eyes II but I also don't remember much about them either. Are you familiar with Chuck Vincent's work?

Chuck Vincent? Well, if you use a Trebuchet, you could chuck him a good 400 yards.

P.S. Spellcheck don't know what a Trebuchet is. Heh heh heh...

I think he directed hardcore porn (probably under another name) but I'm not sure. Former porn actresses seem to turn up in his movies a lot.

CLEO/LEO was actually a halfway decent sex comedy, however, and was basically remade as SWITCH (Jimmy Smits). The rest of them? I saw some, but they don't stick in my memory. Disposable T&A, pretty much.

"The best parts are watching Sly go through the full range of emotions: deadpan, deadpan with raised eyebrow, deadpan with quivering lip. There's also a great sequence where Sly drives his VW Beetle down the interstate for about 20 minutes, staring dramatically through the windshield.."-Joe Bob on A MAN CALLED RAMBO

I think he directed hardcore porn

Yup, same guy.  Here's his IMDb bio:

1979 Jack n' Jill

^^ Quick true story: "Jack N Jill" was the first porn movie I ever saw!! I was about sixteen years old at the time (circa 1986). My friend got the tape from a kid at school who claimed that he stole it from a video store. Remember how video stores used to keep the X-rated stuff in their own room, separated from the "regular" movies by a beaded curtain? Supposedly this guy stuck his arm through the curtain without looking, grabbed the first tape he could get his hands on, and boogied out the door with it. We joked that he should be grateful that the gay porn videos weren't located closest to the door.  TeddyR

The kid was paranoid that his Mom would eventually find the video and kill him so he gave it to my buddy for safe keeping. Needless to say, this tape became a VERY big deal in our circle of friends at the time; since none of us had ever seen an x-rated movie before, it was quite an "event" when my buddy invited us all over for its "world premiere" after school one afternoon.

I remember very little of the film itself aside from the opening scene, which starred Jack Wrangler (a former gay porn star who was making a transition into "mainstream" porn films at the time) and Samantha Fox as a "role playing" couple, because the dialogue between them was so hilariously filthy that we must have watched that scene about a thousand times. The rest of the movie absolutely paled in comparison. To this day, nearly 30 years later, my brother and I can still quote bits from that opening scene chapter and verse and crack each other up with it, especially after a few beers...  TeddyR

By the way, the first time we watched the movie and "Samantha Fox's" name came up in the credits, we thought it would be the blonde, busty British topless model and aspiring pop singer who was quite popular at the time -  we were high fiving each other like "Samantha Fox is in this movie? F*** yeah! SCORE!" ... imagine our surprise when the movie actually began and we found out it wasn't THAT Samantha, but a different actress with the same name. Talk about your crushing disappointment!!
