Mid-90's Gumshoe/Serial Killer/Demon

This movie is about a guy who turns himself in for killing (?) and describes his life to the detective. In the flashback it shows his father, him, and his brother receiving a vision to kill demons. There's a few "tools" that glow, like an axe. His brother turns out to be evil and his father sacrifices himself so they can kill him.

After the flashback scenes, he takes the detective to the burial area where he says none of the names exist on record (?) and the guy who turned himself in tells the detective he's a demon too, and he knows it because he killed his mom.
