Off to New York City this sunday! Woop!  First holiday in a long while and it should be a good two-ish weeks.  But because my brain hasn't really registered that I'm leaving so soon, I thought I'd ask the questions:

Any must-sees?

Anyone in the know of rad things going on worth checking out from the 29th October to 14th November?

I have a couple of friends over there but figure it's always good to get more opinions as I'm keen to make the most out of the limited time I do have.

Yeah anyways, holiday times ahoy.

I think you can still get tickets for that day's shows, discounted, in Times Square at a kiosk...
If you are inclined to museums, New York has several fine ones, I'd particularly recommend the Metropolitan Museum of Art ("the Met").  The Met has a wonderful collection and it's no bore.
I think there are a few really fine restaurants in Manhattan (though can't claim having had any such awesome experience).  Research and knowing where you might like to eat and what helps a lot.  There are at least a handful of restaurants I'd love to try in NY.

What I still rememberr from my 1st and so far last trip to NYC some 50 years ago, the usual.

(1) Statue of Liberty.
(2) Observation deck of the Empire State Building.
(3) and while I didn't get there myself with my family, Central Park, as there is so much to see and do there.

And, oh yes! Enjoy your trip, Dean.
