which Arnie "family" comedy do you prefer? I think they're both very good films with a bunch of quotable lines, and have surprising replay value.

Twins edges it for me...

I'm with Twins as well.  I know this because I remember more of it that Kindergarten Cop.  "It's nod a toomah!"

Were Arnie and Stallone the only action stars of the 80's who had forays into comedy, or were there others who I should remember?

Bruce Willis went from Die Hard (1988) to Look Who's Talking (1989) then back to Die Hard 2 (1990). So I guess he counts, even though I didn't really consider him an action star until The Last Boy Scout (1991).

I have to go with "Twins" as well.....and not because I'm a twin myself. TeddyR

I just feel that it's a funnier film with the advantage of Danny DeVito.

Twins, hands down. Kindergarten cop was funny but not nearly as good as twins.
