Yep, I've seen it a couple of times - honestly, you can't go wrong with a Jim Van Bebber flick.  You'd probably like it if you're into Samurai Cop and Godfrey Ho, but it's actually much more competent than that (but, make no mistake - it's not a masterpiece by any stretch).  Most of the cheese (and, there is plenty) is due to the age and the very low budget, rather than inabilities on the part of those involved.  Sure, the acting isn't great, but otherwise, it's not too bad of a revenge flick (with a pretty good amount of gore, if I remember correctly).  It's been awhile since I've seen it, but it's pretty fun!

cool, perhaps I'll pick up the complete Jim Van Bebber box set that came out. he's only done 2 full length movies from what I can gather, this one and The MAnson Family (which I thought was excellent). plus a load of shorts I've not seen

found this interview... I like his 'no BS' style, when he's laying into Death Proof etc

I have actually owned it in two different formats.  I had a VHS bootleg of it 20+ years ago.  Now I have it on DVD.  Love it.

I have a VHS copy, but haven't watched it. The text on the makes it sound great.

"Goose (Jim Van Bieber) is the leader of the infamous street gang The Ravens. Paul Harper plays the psychotic leader of the The Spiders. Goose quits his own gang and plans to settle down after he's made enough money selling junk. When his Ouija board using girlfriend is beat to death with golf clubs, he hides out with his crazed junkie father in a derelict apartment and begins his bloody revenge.

"This revenge includes guns, knives, kung fu, head-hacking, close-up throat ripping and more. Let me put it this way... The most sensitive moment in the film comes when Goose carries his girlfriend to her final resting place--a trash compactor--and presses the button!"

Might be time to fire up the VCR.

It's cheaply made and badly acted but it works on you.
It's worth seeing.
