I'd heard this referred to as possibly the worst of the year, which honestly I couldn't believe, so had to watch it.

I haven't seen the entire movie yet, however, unless it increases in sucking substantially in the last few minutes, my suspicions have been confirmed.

As a "Syfy original", its really too safe and nowhere near the year's worst*. Frankly I've seen worse movies with wide theatrical releases this year (which I'm not revealing until my bottom ten list), and thats realy saying something considering how rarely I bother visiting cinemas.

So, so far: Robocroc isn't the year's worst. Robocroc isn't bad enough to reach my bottom ten lists. Robocroc isn't even bad enough to reach the runners-up of my bottom ten list!.

* - Even Ghost Shark, which was a trailer's worth of goofiness and eighty-five minutes of padding, was only bad enough to reach the runners-up for my bottom ten list

One monster with extra cheese, hold the plot.

I watched this about a week ago. I was very glad that the waterpark-teen-beachparty area of the plot of short and ended quickly, no sense in letting your food get cold. Really liked the robot crocodile.  TeddyR

I dunno, this was by far the worst movie I've seen this year, and I watch a LOT of SyFy channel movies... even if I lower the bar to where I only compare it against the other SyFy movies I've seen this year, "RoboCroc" was hellishly bad.

It was a "crock" all right!  BounceGiggle

The robocroc had at least a cool look to it.  I liked it more than Ragun Cajun Redneck Gators which had toxic moonshine that turned people into alligators.  Although they both had ridiculous scenes in them.

This is a strange yet fun movie. The bit with the heliocopter was a true "WTF" moment. Wink

As far as SyFy originals go, this one is pretty original for the most part. TeddyR
