I put this in the Bad Movies Forum because of my picks, but I'm wondering what your favorites are? Whether they're good movies or bad.
Mine are
CHRISTMAS EVIL 1980
This has a great performance by the lead actor (Brandon Maggart). It's cheaply made and cheesy as hell but still manages to be unsettling.
DON'T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS 1984
Produced by the great Dick Randall. This one has a serial killer with a grudge against Saint Nick. It's horribly sleazy, and well just plain bad. But I have a soft spot for it.
What's your favorites?

A Christmas Story is so overplayed but it's still pretty good.
I sort of consider Trading Places a Christmas movie.  Most of it takes place during the holidays.
Black Christmas (the original) was pretty good.
That's all I got for now.

Actually, too many "good" Christmas movies to name, but my one favorite "bad" Christmas movie is "Santa Claus Conquerors the Martians." As long as remember two things, when I watch it.

(1) It is supposedly a film made for children.
(2) It is a product of the early '60's.

Not only do I find it watchable, but even enjoyable at times.

And it is also Pia Zadora's motion picture debut.

Hardware really tries to go for some pretentiousness by taking place on Christmas, which gives me one of two good excuses to play THE ORDER OF DEATH by PIL for WRIR's listeners. The other excuse is the whole "this is what you want, this is what you get" thing sorta sums up how the holidays always seem to turn out............

MY personal favorite for this time of year is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Just something about being brought up in the post nuclear age makes parts of it relateable.

It depends on my mood, I guess. If I'm feeling like some Christmas action, then I'm down for some Die Hard 1 & 2 or a bit of Lethal Weapon (1987). If I'm feeling like a little bit of horror, then I'm down for some Black Christmas (1976-77?). If I'm feeling like a bit of Christmas comedy, then I'm always down for some National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) or Trading Places (1983)! Any Christmas movie is good depending on the mood of the occasion and, of course, how good (or bad) that it is.  Cheers
