What is the name of recent film or TV series pilot with woman who can read minds and by the end of the film reluctantly teams up with a policeman.

She saves his life from being shot in a building, which was a trap to kill him, but she felt that.

Up to that point she had tried to hide that she can read minds, even though, I seem to remember, she had caught some thoughts of that policeman earlier.

If not for the gender difference, I'd say that this was the TV series THE LISTENER which is similar to what you describe.

That was the second series Google suggested. But the woman I have in mind woman was not white and blond, rather a little bit colored and had dark hair. And no medium or ghosts involved. But thanks. Please keep thinking.
