A good bad movie is like popcorn for the soul!

In 1959, nine mountaineers went hiking in the northern  Urals in what was then the USSR.
All  nine of them were found dead a few days later in a high mountain pass; no one has ever satisfactorily explained what happened to them.
In 2012, a group of college students received a grant to film a documentary about the Dyatlov Pass incident and decided to retrace the steps of the ill-fated Russian expedition.
They were never seen again, but their cameras were recovered.

It sounds like a cheesy set-up, but this is one of the best "found footage" movies I have ever seen.
Some genuine scares, plot twists that were not al all predictable, and some really terrifying CGI creatures.
I highly recommend this movie!

Is that the Renny Harlin one? I agree that this is a really good found footage movie. The beginning and the middle were pretty much standard imo, but the ending was just incredibly unpredictable and awesome. Thinking back this might have been the best FF-Movie I saw in 2013.

if you like FF films, I highly recommend GRAVE ENCOUNTERS.  It's my all time favorite FF movie.
