Thank God I not only got to see this man onstage, but he recreated this performance for this film, playing JOHN BARRYMORE.   CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER plays JOHN BARRYMORE imitating ETHEL BARRYMORE, imitating LIONEL BARRYMORE, imitating LOUELLA PARSONS...!!!    I laughed and laughed!
