mid 70's movie

Hello. Need help remembering a film. My father took me with him to see it back in the mid 70s at our local theater and my memory is vague since I was 4-6 years old.

All I can remember is that is is about an native american tribe that would execute members of the tribe on the side of a cliff. They would put a bag over their head before they did it. That is about all I can remember of the film.

Sounds like it could be Against a Crooked Sky (1975).
