I am Error

Could be a movie or TV episode of some kind....Been trying to identity this film for years, since my childhood. Been looking and asking sites everywhere. Hoping to have luck here. I do not think the film or show was intended to be very serious in theme, it seems like more of cheesy film. It's either 70s, 80s, or early 90s...

The only scene I remember is a family or small group of people in a living room (Think the mother was a younger woman wearing a bathrobe) They're in the living-room momentarily traumatized, while a guy (could be the father, not sure) is pacing through the room only to discover that momentarily the windows and doors suddenly open to brick walls to mess with the characters. There wasn't really brick walls locking the characters in the room, it was more like the characters imagined it or were being messed with.

That's all I remember...

Not sure if it was an anthology horror tv show episode or not even a horror movie at all, could be any kind of movie. I just remember that the characters were being messed with for a trippy unexpected moment where they were locked in the room because tp their sudden surprise the windows and doors opened to brick walls. This was on;y a small part of the story, not the main point to the whole feature.

Sound familiar at all? lol

I've seen this on TV before, a long time ago when I was a kid. I'm going to say one of the Tales from the Darkside episodes for now as a reference. Let me get back to you. This sounds waaaay too familiar to pass up!  Cheers

Thanks, good luck.

Here's a side note though:

I know there was a late 70s or early 80s anthology horror series (forget which one, but I know it wasn't tales from the dark side so you still may have a chance) and, one of the episodes on another anthology show involved a family trapped in a room or house with the windows and doors opening to walls (*not brick walls though* Like I recall)-

So-  I was able to confirm upon that discovery, that, that is not the scene, movie or show that I am talking about here from my memory. ---But it shared a similar plot, so I sort of suspect if that's the clue you're following, I can debunk it now.

However-

if you have a clear idea that what you're thinking of is different, and in fact a tales from the darkside episode instead--carry on! haha. Sorry to be a little confusing. I just know from looking for this scene for years on my own, that I have run in to other similar scenes which aren't it, and have been disproved.  Question

The scene I'm talking about definitely has red brick walls, not white walls or anything.

Another note is-- This was just one small scene and not the point of the entire episode or movie. It was almost like a hallucination for one scene.

Hope I've not made it more confusing. lol.
