Just because we Americans are smarmy, rude, self-centered, and culturally retarded does NOT mean we have to be insulted like that.

But they do have a point about Hollywood remaking their movies and TV programs. I mean, it isn't like they speak Esperanto. And heaven forbid there be normal-looking people on the screen here in the US.

Rev, I asked my cousin Magda who lives in London and she said it's a joke that Americans drink out of red plastic cups because every American TV show features them when there's a party going on. Apparently those red cups are seen as more American than the Statue of Liberty and the right to bear arms. Go figure...

I'm going to keep my eye out next time I watch TV and see if she's right about that.
