WPIX 11 Chiller Theater! I barely remember that opening as a kid, but I remember the one with The Hand, and grew up with that one until Chiller was cancelled in 1982. Besides the Hand was way cooler!

I do remember the old opening, but as I said, the memories are just vague in my mind. I remember the two monsters rolling on the floor, the 50 Ft. Woman's hand coming thru the roof and the giant throwing the car. I was around 4 or 5 when I'd seen this.  Now that I've seen and heard the original, I will say yes, it's VERY creepy!

As far as New York scares, remember this one? Another guilty pleasure of mine that we used to get in New Jersey!

A little tidbit about these two videos, I'm directly involved in both of them I was "Shawnster65" back then. So,  for the first one with the Frankenstein face-I supplied the photograph for that one, as well as the music (Dick Jacobs remastering of "Visitors From Space" from 1958) and the other guy "Tapthat2012" did the video.

For the second video, the same guy, "Tapthat2012", did a closeup of the face I supplied him with for the first video, changed colors and shortened the theme song to about the same length as the old video.

Of the two, the secod one os more accurate (if not spot-on).
