These are pretty strange....can you beat them?

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Holy crap, these look awesome!! I wish these magazines were still around!!!

I imagine that the cover story of the first one must have inspired the album title, Weasels Ripped My Flesh, by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Haha

I saw an episode of American Pickers a while ago where the guys found a big stash of original cover artwork from magazines like these. I forget if the person whose home they were "picking" was a relative of the artist, or what, but they bought quite a pile of them. I remember one showed some sort of Satanic ritual involving a biker gang and another where a blonde in a bikini was tied up and about to be branded with a swastika shaped iron by a bunch of Nazis. Seriously, if I was walkin' past a newsstand and that jumped out at me, I would buy one. :D

     This cover inspired Frank....

On Pickers, did you notice the cover where the bikini-clad babes were offering shelter (and who knows what else) to two guys about to be trampled by a herd of moose?

I was looking for that one.
